Axis, the private equity arm of the Spanish Official Credit Institute (ICO), has approved an investment of up to €15 million in Qida (Caring Well S.L.), a Spanish company specializing in home care and technology solutions for the senior care sector. As a certified B Corp and one of the leading impact-driven companies serving older adults, Qida will receive the investment through Fond-ICO Crecimiento, reinforcing the ICO Group's commitment to initiatives that modernize the care sector and improve services for older people.

Over the past few years, Qida has established itself as one of Spain's leading care companies by combining proprietary technology, multidisciplinary care teams, and a network of more than 2,100 professionals, including over 1,800 caregivers. Its integrated model spans both private and publicly funded home care services, a Prevention offering developed in partnership with VidaCaixa, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for public administrations and insurance providers, and a marketplace of complementary home services.

The company stands out for its AI-enabled technology platform, which automates a significant share of operational processes while enhancing service quality and efficiency. This digital approach is complemented by a growth strategy based on both organic expansion and a strong acquisition track record, having completed nine acquisitions since 2022 in a highly fragmented market. As a result, Qida has supported more than 30,000 people and currently delivers publicly funded home care services (SAD) in over 100 municipalities across Spain.

The investment from Fond-ICO Crecimiento will enable Qida to accelerate its expansion strategy by strengthening its capacity to acquire local and regional operators, broaden its geographic footprint, and continue developing its technology platform and new product lines. It will also support the company's international expansion plans, which are expected to begin in 2028.

Guillermo Jiménez, CEO of Axis, commented: "Our investment in Qida reflects the commitment of Axis and the ICO Group to projects that provide structural solutions to major social challenges such as population ageing and the long-term sustainability of the care system. Qida has demonstrated a unique ability to combine social impact, technological innovation, and a scalable growth model. Through Fond-ICO Crecimiento, we are proud to support the company in this new phase, helping to strengthen its leadership in Spain while laying the foundations for its future international expansion."

Oriol Fuertes, Founder and CEO of Qida, added: "The investment from Axis represents a major milestone in our roadmap to transform Spain's care model. Having a long-term institutional partner such as the ICO enables us to accelerate our mission of driving systemic transformation across both public and private care services. We will continue advancing a model that combines technology, prevention, high-quality home care, and measurable social impact. Our ambition is clear: to scale a care and technology platform that contributes to the sustainability of Spain's health and social care systems while addressing the country's structural ageing challenge."
