Auren, a leading Spanish professional services firm with a global presence in auditing, legal advisory, consulting, and corporate services, has appointed Jorge Doval as a new partner at Auren Corporate, strengthening its restructuring and pre-insolvency advisory practice.
A graduate in Business Administration and Management from Universidad San Pablo CEU, with a Master’s in Auditing from IES-CEU and a Master’s in Insolvency Administration from UNED, Jorge Doval brings over 16 years of experience advising companies on financing, refinancing, transformation, and restructuring processes.
Doval joins Auren’s Corporate division from EY, where he became a partner in January 2021 within the Restructuring Strategy & Turnaround department, leading the financial insolvency specialty in his final year. Prior to that, he spent twelve years in KPMG’s Restructuring practice, after initially joining its Transaction Services department. Jorge began his career in the professional services sector in 2003 at EY, in the Audit division.
With his appointment, Auren strengthens its business restructuring team through Auren Reestructuraciones 360º, enhancing its ability to support companies and financial institutions in complex situations. This multidisciplinary practice combines experts with legal, financial, strategic, and forensic experience, providing comprehensive solutions across all stages of the process — from prevention and planning to execution and consolidation of new debt structures.
