Anyformat, the generative AI platform specialized in extracting and structuring complex data from any document, has closed a €3.3 million seed round led by Kibo Ventures, with follow-on participation from 4Founders, Abac Nest Ventures and Decelera Ventures, funds that also invested in the previous round.
The company is leading a new generation of document infrastructure based on generative AI, enabling the operational teams of large corporations to work with complex documents with human-level precision and machine-level speed, while always maintaining full control over their data. This is achieved thanks to technology designed to be deployed from day one, with no friction or technical dependencies.
Since its previous round, where it raised €520,000 in pre-seed funding, Anyformat has significantly expanded its value proposition beyond traditional data extraction. Today, the company is the only provider that enables, in real time, the combination of the information extracted from a document with a company’s internal and proprietary data. This means that a contract, invoice, or email can be automatically analyzed while being cross-referenced directly with corporate databases such as customer records, policies, catalogues or historical data.
For organizations with complex documentation and fragmented systems, this capability eliminates manual validations, reduces errors, and accelerates critical business processes. This addresses a real and widespread problem: according to Dell Technologies’ Innovation Catalyst report, 68% of Spanish companies are unable to turn their data into valuable real-time information, highlighting the urgency of solutions like Anyformat.

With a team of nine full-time employees, the startup continues refining its technology to convert any document, presentation, or file into data ready for analysis, business intelligence or internal operations, while complying with the strictest privacy controls.
Anyformat aims to surpass €1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 2026, supported by its commercial expansion across Europe and the growth of use cases related to automation, compliance and advanced document processing.

This new funding will enable the company to accelerate product development and strengthen the areas most critical to its growth. A significant portion of the capital will go toward expanding the engineering and product teams, boosting its roadmap in advanced extraction capabilities and in developing proprietary error-detection models. At the same time, Anyformat will build a highly focused commercial team in Spain and the European Union to capitalize on the growing demand for intelligent data processing solutions.
In addition, the company will continue investing in its privacy-first infrastructure, reinforcing security processes and advancing certifications such as ISO 27001, which are essential for working with large corporations and public administrations.
With this round, Anyformat accelerates its path to becoming the leading European reference in document AI. The company is positioning its Agentic OCR as the new standard for automating critical processes in organizations that cannot compromise on precision or data control.
