Addleshaw Goddard has advised GED Capital, one of the most important venture capital managers in Spain, on a recent increase through which three new strategic partners have entered into its capital: Libertas 7, Aligrupo and Livrefluxo.
Libertas 7, an investment holding company of the Noguera family, Aligrupo, a company owned by the Alcaraz family, and Livrefluxo, a vehicle owned by the Matos family in Portugal, will have a representation of 25% of the total capital through this operation.
The team at Addleshaw Goddard that has advised GED Capital has been led by the partner of the Corporate area Pablo Díaz, with the collaboration of senior associate Enrique Murillo and associate Álvaro Paniagua.
With this transaction, GED Capital seeks to scale the size of the next funds planned for current strategies, support the launch of a single-issue and healthcare-specific growth capital fund, and provide new resources to its corporate structure.
