The international law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised the founding partners of B.Power, a company specialising in biogas projects and headquartered in Logroño (Spain), on the transaction through which two family offices —the investment vehicle of the Delclaux family and that of the Mengotti-Maroto family— have entered the company's share capital.

The transaction, valued at EUR 30 million, strengthens B.Power’s position in the biogas sector, which in recent years has gained increasing relevance within the Spanish energy mix and is emerging as one of the segments with the greatest potential for the development of new projects and the attraction of specialised investment.

"We are proud to support B.Power in this transaction" Gonzalo Olivera, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard

The multidisciplinary Addleshaw Goddard team advising on the transaction was led by Gonzalo Olivera, together with Alberto Artés. The team also included Roberto Pomares, Elena Gonos, Fátima García de la Torre and Jorge López Rey.

Gonzalo Olivera says: "The entry of new investors and senior professionals will enable the company to strengthen its long-term investment capacity at a time when the biogas sector is becoming increasingly strategic for energy security and Spain’s energy independence.”
