The transport and infrastructure engineering sector in Spain has witnessed a major corporate transaction with the acquisition of the Spanish company Ardanuy Ingeniería by the French group SYSTRA, a world leader in consulting and engineering for public transport and mobility solutions.

As part of this strategic operation, the consulting firm Accuracy played a fundamental role by carrying out the financial due diligence on the buyer's side, SYSTRA, through the team comprising Ignacio Lliso, Gonzalo Díaz de Espada Eizaguirre, Pablo Lobos Bernal, and Daniel Mareque.

With this acquisition, SYSTRA strengthens its presence in Spain, Portugal, and Hispanic America, incorporating more than 350 new employees with recognized expertise in railway systems, metro, and urban transport into its structure, which allows it to enhance its technical expertise in the field of transport infrastructure and systems.

This transaction confirms the dynamism of the Spanish M&A market in the specialized engineering sector, where private equity and corporations are actively seeking assets with high added value and international growth potential.
