The Society for Industrial Development of Aragon (Sodiar) has announced its investment in Griferías Grober (GRB MIXERS), a Zaragoza-based company with over three decades of experience in the design, manufacture, and marketing of single-lever faucets and complementary products, known for its proprietary technology and strong focus on innovation.
This investment will support the development of Zircular, GRB’s water recirculation system that prevents waste until the water reaches the ideal temperature, providing efficiency and comfort, particularly in the hospitality sector. In addition, Sodiar will support the consolidation of Dakota, GRB’s industrial artificial intelligence tool designed to preserve technical knowledge and facilitate the management of products and components throughout their lifecycle.
Technological innovation and sustainability
GRB Mixers has focused its activity on technical precision, safety, and user comfort in its thermostatic faucet solutions. The Zircular project tackles water waste from the product engineering perspective: the system maintains a constant temperature throughout the shower and prevents fluctuations, activating the flow only when the optimal temperature is reached. This completely eliminates water that would otherwise be wasted, generating savings and efficiency without compromising the user experience.
Zircular is designed for both residential and hotel environments, where water consumption is high. The solution also allows recirculation of initial water for other useful purposes within facilities with existing recirculation circuits, a particularly valuable feature in hotels. The product is currently in pre-series production, with a commercial launch scheduled for September 2026, marking GRB’s entry into a new technological category.
Industrial artificial intelligence: Dakota
In parallel, GRB has developed Dakota, an artificial intelligence agent that preserves decades of industrial technical knowledge. The tool helps resolve complex technical queries, identify components and spare parts, verify compatibility, and ensure the technical continuity of products with long lifecycles, reinforcing sustainability and repairability across GRB’s solutions.
Sodiar as a driver of the Aragonese industry
Sodiar’s participation in GRB Mixers provides institutional backing, stability, and long-term vision to an industrial strategy based on proprietary technology and local production. The Government of Aragon highlights the importance of supporting projects that combine traditional industry, deep innovation, and genuine market-transforming capacity.
With this investment, GRB Mixers consolidates a new stage in its trajectory, transforming its industrial expertise into disruptive solutions in water management and artificial intelligence, with institutional support and a clear international vocation
