Physia, a startup born in the UMH Scientific Park (PCUMH), has closed a €300,000 funding round with the participation of Bcombinator, a fund specialized in high-potential tech startups, alongside renowned Health sector Business Angels such as Gianluca Rossi, Pedro Rubio, Álex Vallés, and Ana Santonja, as well as the public entity ENISA.

Bcombinator's involvement - backed by prominent investors such as Erik Brieva, Andrés Echecopar, and Jordi Martín del Val - brings not only financial support but also strategic backing to help Physia consolidate and scale, particularly as it continues to build a high-impact tech solution for the healthcare industry.

This investment will allow the company to accelerate the development of its platform, with a focus on enhancing functionalities, increasing personalization and automation capabilities, strengthening marketing efforts, and expanding the technical and customer success teams. The goal is to keep improving the experience for both professionals and patients through an AI-powered healthcare software solution.

“Our initial goal was to raise €200,000, and we ended up surpassing €300,000, which reinforces investor confidence in our proposal and validates the clear need for a solution like ours in the healthcare space,” says Marcos Valera, CEO of Physia.

A versatile solution for intelligent patient management

Physia has developed a platform designed to automate key healthcare processes such as appointment scheduling, patient follow-up, and clinical administration. Its features include 24/7 patient support, automated clinical interviews, personalized routines and advice, and comprehensive automation of administrative and clinical tasks. The software is adaptable to any medical specialty, making it highly versatile for a wide range of healthcare providers. It can also be used via both a web platform and WhatsApp, offering maximum flexibility for clinics and medical centers.

This innovative approach earned Physia recognition in the 13th UMH Startup Creation Marathon, and now, with the support of Bcombinator and other strategic investors, the company is entering a new phase of growth and consolidation in the HealthTech sector.
