PageMind, an artificial intelligence platform for ecommerce, has announced the closing of a €1.2 million funding round to accelerate the development of its technology and support its expansion into the U.S. market, the company said in a statement.

The round was led by venture capital firm 4Founders Capital and also attracted participation from David Martín, CEO of Tradeinn, and Javier Pérez-Tenessa, co-founder of 4Founders Capital and eDreams.

The proceeds will be used to strengthen the platform's technological capabilities, expand the company's team and execute its international growth strategy, with a particular focus on the United States.

PageMind has developed an AI-powered solution that enables ecommerce businesses to optimize product descriptions, generate buying guides and product comparisons, deploy conversational assistants that function as digital salespeople, and improve product visibility across the new generation of AI-driven search engines (AEO).

“Traffic no longer depends exclusively on traditional search engines or performance marketing campaigns, but on artificial intelligence systems that interpret, recommend and synthesize information from multiple sources,” said Jaume Portell, founder and CEO of PageMind.
