Grupo JSV, supported by strategic partner Nazca Capital, announces a major milestone in its growth and sustainability journey with the acquisition of a second next-generation, low-emission container vessel, the “Miranda Green”. This vessel joins the recently acquired “Mila Green”, forming a twin-ship fleet that combines modern technology, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency.

Both vessels, with a nominal capacity of 1,200 TEUs, are equipped with dual-fuel combustion systems and are methanol-ready, capable of reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 70%, while nearly eliminating sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter. They are also designed for shore-side electrical connection, complying with regulations set for 2030.

The acquisition reflects a significant investment of €38 million per ship, with the first vessel scheduled for delivery in March 2026 and the second in June 2026. The enhanced design includes increased width and height across all positions to optimize the loading of special containers, including pallet wide high cube and 45-foot units, complemented by a newly patented guiding system that speeds up operations.

Sonia Herzog, CEO of JSV, highlighted: “Adding these two vessels to our fleet represents a dream come true. They place us at the forefront of emission reduction in maritime transport and advance our Sustainability Plan, combining environmental and long-term business resilience.”

With Nazca Capital as a strategic partner, JSV is accelerating its growth and international expansion. The Herzog family continues to lead the company’s management, ensuring continuity and operational excellence.

The “Green” fleet expansion underscores JSV’s commitment to sustainable shipping, innovation, and leadership in environmental stewardship.
