The European Center for Business and Innovation of Murcia (CEEIM) and the National Association of CEEIs (ANCES) have launched their open innovation program, “Ances Open Innovación 2026” (AOi), offering 11 startups from the Murcia Region the opportunity to implement their innovative technology in leading companies in Spain, through networked development and, at the same time, to advance their own tech business.
In its ninth edition, AOi features eleven participating companies that are leaders in national and international markets and operate in sectors such as agri-food, biotechnology, e-commerce, renewable energy, and industrial industries. All of them act as catalysts for the future, supporting, accelerating, and enabling innovation.
Challenging Companies
In addition to Grupo Orenes, the companies presenting challenges this year are ArcelorMittal, Cinfa, Cleardent, Denso Ten, DOOS SYSTEM, Fundación Caja Rural de Asturias, Grupo MRM, Multiópticas, Plexus Tech, and Grupo Simetría.
All participating companies are considered anchor companies for innovation, acting as engines that attract, drive, and connect startups with technology. Their challenges correspond to real technological problems proposed exclusively for startups and young innovative companies participating in the program, with the goal of developing practical solutions.
Previous editions have seen broad participation from leading companies and tech startups. To date, the program has facilitated the launch of 79 technological challenges and the presentation of 814 solutions.

Finalists will be announced on April 27, and the winners will be revealed at the final event, scheduled for May. Following the announcement, the winning startups will begin a collaboration process with the established company responsible for the challenge
