The business group based Navarra de Participaciones Industriales in Navarra, and owner of Congelados de Navarra, has taken a new strategic step to consolidate its Meat Division with the incorporation of two leading companies in the sector: Embutidos La Hoguera and Embutidos Solà.

Embutidos La Hoguera, located in San Pedro Manrique (Soria), specializes in the production of hams, loins, chorizos, and torreznos. The company has an annual turnover of approximately €50 million and a workforce of 124 employees.

For its part, Embutidos Solà, headquartered in La Plana de Vic (Barcelona), stands out for its more than 200-year-old tradition in producing cured meats, especially espetec, fuet, salchichón, and salamis. The company generates €20 million in annual revenue and employs around 80 people.

Both acquisitions are part of a growth strategy aimed at, in the words of Benito Jiménez, “consolidating a competitive meat group by strengthening the production capabilities of the companies to seek synergies, expand the product range, and thus address new market challenges.”

Both Embutidos La Hoguera and Embutidos Solà will retain their current teams and will operate under the philosophy of sustainable growth, commitment to quality, and technological innovation that defines the Navarra-based Business Group. Both companies share a strong tradition, a constant pursuit of excellence in their processes, and a vision aligned with the Group’s values.

Throughout the process, the Group was advised by Deloitte and Agnia. Meanwhile, NORGESTION advised the owners of Embutidos La Hoguera, and ABL & New York Associates advised those of Embutidos Solà.
