Be Casa, the innovative flexible living community, opens its first location in the municipality of Barakaldo.This project, currently under construction and scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2025, will offer 639 fully furnished units, including studios and one-bedroom apartments.
Be Casa was created in response to the growing demand for alternative housing solutions in the real estate market. This flexible rental model, known as flex living, puts the new needs of today’s population at the heart of its offering, providing short- and long-term options with shared spaces and comprehensive services. The new Be Casa community is located at Ismael Gorostiza 2, in Barakaldo. It has direct access to the metro, the A8 motorway, and is close to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), the city’s main fairground venue. Committed to sustainability, Be Casa has been designed following the highest standards of efficiency and environmental responsibility, achieving an “Outstanding” BREEAM certification, which assesses buildings’ sustainability in terms of energy efficiency and environmental management. The project also uses sustainable materials, aerothermal systems for efficient energy use, bicycle parking, and electric vehicle chargers, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and green mobility.
