Alantra has advised Finerge, the largest wind energy producer in Portugal, on the structuring and execution of construction financing for a portfolio of four solar PV plants in Portugal, with a total installed capacity of 257 MWp. The projects will be hybridized with Finerge’s existing onshore wind assets, marking a significant milestone in the Iberian renewable energy market.
Alantra acted as financial advisor to Finerge, leading the structuring and arrangement of the debt financing and supporting the integration of solar capacity into its operating wind portfolio.

As the largest wind energy producer in Portugal, Finerge operates more than 90 wind farms and 18 solar parks across over 61 municipalities in Portugal and six provinces in Spain. Around 900 wind turbines and thousands of photovoltaic modules harness wind and solar energy, transforming these natural resources into clean electricity.
This transaction reinforces Alantra’s strong track record in the Energy & Power Infrastructure sector, having recently advised Rolwind Renovables on the sale of one of the largest late-stage standalone battery storage portfolios in Spain to global utility ENGIE, Solaria on the Generia LandCo partnership with infrastructure asset manager Stonepeak, and Iberdrola on the sale of a renewable power portfolio to Renewable Power International.
