MONDRAGON Ventures is once again participating in “Impulso Emprendedor,” the program promoted by the Government of Navarra through CEIN (European Center for Business and Innovation of Navarra), which has launched its fourteenth edition with the aim of supporting the market entry of innovative startups.

The initiative will select up to 10 business projects with high growth potential, which will gain access to a comprehensive program of acceleration, mentoring, and financial support, aimed at strengthening their commercial strategy and facilitating their development in the market.

MONDRAGON, through MONDRAGON Ventures, takes part in the program as a mentoring company alongside other leading organizations, contributing its experience, knowledge, and business vision to support entrepreneurial teams in the development of their projects.

“Participating in ‘Impulso Emprendedor’ allows MONDRAGON to connect with innovative, high-potential projects and contribute to their development from early stages. These types of initiatives strengthen collaboration between companies and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering the creation of new business opportunities,” said Manu Ayerdi, Corporate Director of Promotion and New Businesses at MONDRAGON.

Comprehensive support for startup development

The program is aimed at startups from any sector that have an innovative product or service, a defined business model, and high growth potential, provided their activity is based in Navarra.

Selected initiatives will receive specialized support to define and professionalize their commercial strategy, integrating sales as a key pillar of their business development.

The selection process will take place in two phases. In the first stage, up to 20 projects will be chosen, which will then present their proposals to a jury composed of CEIN and the mentoring companies. From this process, 10 startups will be selected to participate in the full program.

Awards and funding

The call includes a total of €64,000 in prizes, financed by the mentoring companies, which will be distributed across three awards of €34,000, €20,000, and €10,000 based on the performance of the participating startups.

In addition, the three winning initiatives may access a participating loan of up to €100,000 granted by Sodena, without requiring equity contributions from the founding teams.

As an additional support measure, participating startups will be able to access CEIN’s incubators for six months, benefiting from its support services, mentoring, and access to internationalization activities.

Application deadline

Entrepreneurs interested in applying may submit their applications until April 12 through the form available on CEIN’s website.

Alongside MONDRAGON, the mentoring companies include Caja Rural de Navarra, Cinfa, Grupo Enhol, MTorres, Salinas de Navarra, Viscofan, and Zabala Innovation Consulting, consolidating a public-private collaboration model aimed at fostering innovative entrepreneurship.

Through its participation in this initiative, MONDRAGON Ventures reinforces its commitment to promoting new business activities, collaborating with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and generating opportunities for sustainable economic development
