OnRoute is the new national logistics operator created through the integration of Talaexprés, Logística Carosán (Talavera de la Reina – Castilla-La Mancha, Sagunto/Valencia), Futrans (Toledo – Castilla-La Mancha), and Transnugón (Valencia). Behind the transaction is the investment fund Vecta (formerly Sherpa Capital), which has been acquiring these companies since February 2024, culminating in the creation of a single brand under which they will operate across Spain: OnRoute.
With these four companies, OnRoute becomes one of the leading national logistics operators and a reference player for industrial, retail, pharma, and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. This is supported by a fleet of more than 500 tractor units, 140,000 square metres of warehousing space, and around 800 employees.
The combined revenue of the group amounts to €75 million in 2025, and it expects to increase sales by 35% in 2026, driven both by the new acquisitions and the execution of its business plan.
OnRoute operates logistics hubs in the Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, and Portugal, enabling nationwide coverage and serving a wide range of sectors, from industrial goods to dry and refrigerated food.
According to business development director Germán Monedero, the objectives of the integration are “to become a global supply chain logistics player (combining warehousing and full truckload capabilities), while maintaining a local footprint, becoming leaders in sectors such as industrial, automotive, food, and pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic.” He adds that “to achieve this, we are working on aligning all companies under a single operational and strategic model, as well as integrating teams and businesses. We also aim for the market to recognise us under the OnRoute brand, consistent with our goal of accompanying customers along their logistics route, and we would like it to become a benchmark brand in the industrial market as a leading logistics operator.”
Objectives
The company’s main objective, as outlined by Germán Monedero, is to move towards a direct B2B model, increasing the share of industrial and manufacturing clients. It also aims to improve the profitable occupancy of warehouses and evolve towards a 3PL model (third-party logistics, i.e. outsourcing logistics operations to a specialised provider) for warehousing clients, becoming a preferred logistics partner.
For Monedero, a key challenge in achieving these goals is improving profitability per truck and optimising operational efficiency, and above all, “increasing digitalisation and automation of certain processes to enhance competitiveness.”
The official launch of the OnRoute brand reflects the current wave of acquisitions and the creation of large logistics groups capable of operating nationwide and across multiple sectors.
