Santander Alternative Investments and Sancus Capital have acquired a project to build a 140 MW solar photovoltaic project in Zaragoza, Spain. The plant is expected to generate enough power to meet the needs of over 83,000 households and with the aim of helping to avoid the emission of more than 34,000 tons of CO2 per year.

This project joins a current portfolio of 30 MW of solar projects that are operational or under construction.

This deal is yet another example of Santander Alternative Investments' commitment to Sustainable and Responsible Investment as a source of value and to reducing CO2 emissions to combat climate change.
