NovaHiring, the Spanish startup that automates recruitment processes through AI-powered agents and analytics, has closed its first Pre-Seed round totaling €350,000, led by Solvo Global and Angels Capital, the investment firm backed by Juan Roig.

Founded by young entrepreneurs Marc Fortuny and Álvaro Martínez, who met through the Lanzadera ecosystem, NovaHiring has developed a platform that automates and optimizes hiring processes using artificial intelligence, helping companies recruit faster and with less friction. Depending on each company’s needs, the platform activates agents that perform tasks, improving both team productivity and candidate experience. It enables consistent candidate evaluation, reduces biases, and provides structured feedback.

The investment will allow NovaHiring to continue product development, strengthen its team, and accelerate international commercial expansion in partnership with Solvo Global and the Vensure HR Group, a leading global provider of HR, payroll, and operational services. The group serves thousands of employees across more than 100 operational companies worldwide.

Pepe Peris, Managing Director of Angels, highlighted: “NovaHiring was born in Lanzadera, the talent engine where its founders met. They demonstrate strong leadership and a clear vision for how technology can transform and make recruitment processes far more efficient. At Angels, we invest in founders who identify real problems and build scalable solutions with tangible business impact.”

Marc Fortuny, CEO and co-founder of NovaHiring, added: “We are creating a new way to approach talent acquisition: automating much of the operational work so teams can make faster, better-informed decisions at lower cost. In many processes, this translates into time savings of up to 80% in recruitment operations.”

Álvaro Martínez, CTO and co-founder, said: “Hiring is a critical operation. When it’s slow, talent is lost. Our goal is for companies to evaluate 100% of candidates consistently, make faster decisions without friction, and maintain a positive candidate experience.”
