Hyperlayer has raised £30 million ($40 million) to accelerate its mission of helping banks and businesses launch future-proof financial products faster.
The round — one of the largest early-stage European fintech raises since 2024 — was led by global equity specialist CDAM (UK) Limited, with participation from Mouro Capital, Iona Star, Flintlock Capital, and existing investors including Susquehanna International Group (Susquehanna Private Equity Investments, LLLP).
The funding will support Hyperlayer’s product and engineering expansion, international growth, and the rollout of its plug-and-play financial technology to more banks, wealth managers, and businesses worldwide.
“This funding underlines the demand we’re seeing for our breakthrough technology, which cuts time-to-launch, costs, and risk for banks and other businesses looking to innovate,” said Rob Rooney, Co-founder and CEO of Hyperlayer.
Hyperlayer already powers Tier 1 banks with advanced account features, loyalty programmes, and new wealth tools, enabling financial institutions to match and even overtake digital-first competitors without replacing their core systems.
“Hyperlayer gives financial institutions the flexibility to pursue innovation without sacrificing speed or facing costly core-banking overhauls,” said Manuel Silva Martínez, General Partner at Mouro Capital.
Over the next 18 months, Hyperlayer will scale rapidly across retail and commercial banking, loyalty and rewards, wealth and asset management, and regtech markets, reinforcing its position as a key enabler of next-generation programmable financial services.
