On its fourth anniversary, Lartech looks to the future with the appointment of Lorena Díaz Martínez as its new Managing Director.
Lartech has established itself as one of the leading Proptech investment vehicles in Spain. Since its creation in 2021, Lartech’s goal has been to support and promote companies developing technological solutions for the real estate sector—particularly in the verticals where Grupo Lar operates: Residential, Retail, and Logistics.
Through Lartech, emerging companies gain access not only to financial resources but also to the broader Grupo Lar ecosystem, allowing them to test concepts, run pilot programs, and receive expert guidance.
To mark its fourth anniversary, Lartech has appointed Lorena Díaz Martínez as Managing Director, reaffirming its commitment to Spanish entrepreneurship. Lorena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College, with a focus on finance and entrepreneurship. She brings four years of experience in venture capital, investing in startups across various sectors, and previously worked as an investment analyst at NTT Data’s corporate venture fund.
In this new stage, Lartech plans to take 5% equity stakes in startups to enhance its capacity to generate value and accelerate the growth of the projects it backs. Its main areas of interest include optimizing the value chain and construction process, real estate asset management, sustainability and environmental impact initiatives, and solutions that enhance customer experience.
