KPMG appoints Jose A. Zarzalejos as Global Head of Corporate Finance, effective October 1, 2025. This area encompasses advisory services in M&A, business valuations, portfolio transaction advisory, and infrastructure and project financing, and is part of the Deal Advisory division.
The global team comprises around 2,500 professionals, serving clients in 39 countries.
Zarzalejos will combine his new role with his current position as Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at KPMG in Spain.

Jose A. joined KPMG in 2020 and has over 20 years of experience in financial advisory, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, advising both family-owned companies and multinational groups as well as private equity firms. He has accumulated significant experience primarily in the Healthcare, Consumer, Retail, and Private Equity sectors. Prior to joining KPMG, he was an M&A Partner at PwC, worked as an analyst at Alantra, and also practiced as a lawyer at Garrigues.
Jose A. also has a notable academic role at financial education centers such as The London School of Economics and the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, where he holds the honorary presidency of the alumni association and directs the Master’s in Investment Banking.
