After more than 70 years since its foundation in 1949 by Fernando Maestre, FERMAX has become a multinational company with a global presence that commercializes from its headquarters in Valencia (Spain) around 60% of its products and technologies to more than 70 countries around the world.
Actually, with around 450 employees and more tan 60 engineers dedicated to innovating and developing products, FERMAX leads the market with the most technological solutions in the sector. Its capacity for innovation focuses on connectivity and residential communication in buildings, from traditional audio door entry systems to the most cutting-edge technology, security systems, home automation and access control. FERMAX closed the 2022 financial year with global sales of over 75 million euros.
MCH is a private equity firm founded in 1998. The company manages around 1,500 million euros through different funds, being one of the leading fund management companies in the Spanish market. It focuses its activities mainly on participation in Spanish companies, pioneers in their corresponding markets and managed by solid professional teams, with the aim of promoting their growth, leadership and internationalisation.
The FERMAX executive team leaded by Jeremy Palacio, who is named President and CEO, will stay in charge of the management. Together with MCH, they will drive the company’s growth in the coming years by consolidating their efforts in innovation, technological development and manufacture in Spain, taking advantage of the opportunities that new technologies, connectivity, mobility and digitalisation offer to the building and housing markets and their residents.
In the end, the main purpose of the project is to strengthen the commercial development of the company, both in Spain and primarily in international markets, while maintaining the company’s culture and values.
