The startup Emblematic, specialized in using artificial intelligence to optimize financial and accounting processes, closed a pre-seed funding round of $2 million (€1.7 million) this Thursday, led by Passion Capital, with participation from Caesar VC, Plug and Play, and Kfund.

The funds raised will be used to expand its suite of AI agents and accelerate the development of new platform capabilities, which already has international early adopters in the technology and financial services sectors.

The company develops AI agents that learn the accounting logic of each organization, which «allows financial teams to scale without the need to increase headcount or outsource».

«In my previous company, our finance team was buried in repetitive tasks, despite having invested heavily in ERPs and automation tools,» said Edgar Álvarez, CEO and co-founder of Emblematic.

«The problem is not the lack of software, but that no tool truly understands how each company works. Emblematic’s agents learn the logic of your business and apply it at scale, freeing accountants to focus on cases that truly require human judgment,» he added.

The platform, designed to ensure transparency and traceability, provides natural language explanations and confidence levels for each action, as well as an auditable interface that keeps control in the hands of professionals.

«Emblematic provides a clear product vision: automating financial operations with solutions based on adaptive agents capable of understanding how each company operates,» emphasized Will Orde, partner at Passion Capital, regarding the investment.

«Emblematic’s agents allow scaling without friction and enable resources to be devoted to strategic matters, not daily operations,» the statement concludes.
