CVC Capital Partners ("CVC") announced on June 1st the close of CVC Capital Partners VII ("Fund VII"), its latest flagship fund for private equity investments in Europe and North America. The fund closed with a hard cap of €15.5 billion. Together with the commitments of CVC and its employees, Fund VII will have over €16 billion of equity capital available to invest.

In addition to this flagship fund focused on private equity investments in Europe and North America, CVC operates three other private equity strategies: CVC Capital Partners Asia Pacific, the firm's Asian private equity platform; CVC Strategic Opportunities Platform, which focusses on stable long term investment opportunities; and CVC Growth Partners, which invests in high-growth, middle-market companies in the software and technology-enabled business services sectors.
Across all four strategies CVC manages €34 billion of active private equity funds.
