Core Capital Investments, the technology investment firm founded by Paco González, announces the launch of cartagon.ai, the first platform in Europe exclusively dedicated to providing Artificial Intelligence infrastructure. With an initial funding exceeding €30 million, cartagon.ai will focus on offering high-performance NVIDIA GPUs to large European corporations, enabling the acceleration of their AI projects with turnkey solutions.

cartagon.ai is launched with a clear commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. The technology deployed by the company will operate with zero water consumption and under strict compliance with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the global environmental agenda 2030.

cartagon.ai ensures compliance with the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act, guaranteeing that its operations align with the standards of transparency, security, privacy, and data governance established in the Eurozone.

“cartagon.ai represents a milestone in Artificial Intelligence infrastructure in Europe. Our goal is to provide companies with a scalable, efficient, and sustainable solution for deploying AI models without the need for large hardware investments,” stated Paco González, CEO of Core Capital Investments.

The company will become the first in Europe to operate under this model, which has already been successfully applied by international companies such as CoreWeave.

Alberto Valencia, Chief Technology Officer of Cartagon and head of the cartagon.ai project at Core Capital Investments, added: “The demand for AI infrastructure in Europe is growing at an unprecedented rate, and with cartagon.ai we want to ensure that companies can access the computing power they need without the investment barriers and technical complexity that this entails. Our turnkey approach allows companies to focus on innovation while we provide a reliable, high-performance, secure, and sustainable infrastructure.”

This announcement coincides with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Cartagon, a recognised cloud and IT services company in Spain and Portugal with a long-standing history in the sector. The celebration event will take place today in central Madrid and will be attended by the firm's Partners and employees from all companies acquired and managed by the Core Capital Investments group, including Quetta, the data centre platform created alongside Azora with an investment of €500M.
