Bankinter Innovation Foundation, Endeavor, and Wayra Drive the Growth of Spanish Scaleups with the 6th Edition of Scaleup Spain. The program kicks off with a bootcamp on October 7–8, where the founders of the participating scaleups will learn how to consolidate their growth and expand their international reach.
In its previous five editions, Scaleup Spain has supported 62 startups that have collectively generated over 3,900 jobs and secured €1.03 billion in investment.
Madrid, October 2, 2025. Fundación Innovación Bankinter, Endeavor, and Wayra have announced the launch of the sixth edition of Scaleup Spain, a program designed to help scaleups in their maturation and transformation process. The program will officially begin on October 7–8 with an intensive bootcamp at the Parador de Chinchón (Madrid), serving as the starting point for six months of training, support, and connection with some of the leading experts in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The initial Scaleup Spain bootcamp will feature participation from entrepreneurial ecosystem leaders such as Luis Sanz, CEO of Carto; Pedro Mejuto, Director of Product Strategy at Telefónica Digital Innovation; Jaime Llantada, co-founder and CEO of Ciudadela; and Andrés Dancausa, General Partner at TheVentureCity. Over these two days, key topics for scaleup growth will be addressed, including organizational structure and management, operations, sales, talent, fundraising, internationalization, mental health, M&A, branding and storytelling, as well as analysis of success cases.
Scaleup Spain is aimed at startups that are about to—or have already begun—their transition into scaleups, with exponential growth potential and at similar stages of development. Selected entrepreneurs will receive practical, personalized training, tailored to the specific needs of each project, combining the insights of international experts with the experience of founders who have already navigated this process.
The program anticipates strategic, financial, and managerial challenges that these companies will face during this growth phase. Notably, in its five previous editions, Scaleup Spain has demonstrated a tangible impact on the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, with over 3,900 jobs created and more than €1.03 billion in investment secured by its 62 alumni startups.
The protagonists of the 6th edition of Scaleup Spain
The 12 companies selected this year have undergone a rigorous evaluation process overseen by an independent committee of experts and mentors from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
To ensure quality and potential, criteria included strong business traction, with annual growth rates between 60% and 100%; securing at least €1 million in investment; or generating more than €1 million in annual revenue. Additionally, the ambition and commitment of the founders to the ecosystem and impact creation, proximity to Series A investment rounds—or recent completion in some cases—and the presence of the headquarters or most of the team in Spain were considered.
The scaleups participating in the 6th edition are:
All these companies will become part of the Scaleup Spain Network, a community that maintains collaboration and learning among participants through activities, training, and experience sharing.
