Oriol Pinya – Founding Partner and CEO

Oriol worked at Apax Partners for 15 years as an Equity Partner, Head of the Spanish office and Co-Head of the global retail & consumer team. Prior to Apax, he worked at Merrill Lynch and at the Boston Consulting Group. He is the Chairman of the Spanish Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SPAINCAP) and is a member of the Board and Treasurer of the ESADE Alumni Association. He is also a Patron of Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and of Fundación Pere Tarrés. Oriol holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE (Barcelona), a CEMS Master from HEC (Paris) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (Boston), where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Borja Martinez de la Rosa – Founding Partner

Borja worked at Apax Partners for 13 years as a Partner in the tech & telecom team globally and as a generalist covering the Spanish market since 2004. Prior to joining Apax Partners, he was a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs and an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. Borja holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE (Barcelona) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (Boston), where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Federico Conchillo – Partner

Before joining Abac Capital in 2019, Federico worked at PAI partners for 12 years, where he was a Partner and Head of the Investment Group. Prior to joining PAI partners, he was a Director in Merrill Lynch Investment Banking and an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. Federico holds a degree in Applied Economics from K.U. Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
