Sabadell Corporate Finance has acted as the exclusive financial advisor on the sale of Los Concejiles wind farm to Fenie Energía Emoción, S.L., subsidiary of Fenie Energía, S.A. Grupo Ascia is among the sellers in this transaction.
The transaction is the fifth deal closed by Sabadell Corporate Finance in the Spanish wind renewable energy sector after the approval of the new regulatory framework two years ago which places SCF as the leading financial advisor in wind energy deals in Spain by number of transactions closed. As a result of this transaction, SCF accumulates a total of 180 wind MWs sold.
Los Concejiles is a wind farm located in Sorihuela (Salamanca), with an installed capacity of 11.69 MW distributed in 7 wind turbines with 2,200 equivalent hours per year. The wind farm operates since 2009.
Grupo Ascia develops and manages renewable energy plants through its subsidiary Ascia Renovables. This subsidiary developed and managed Los Concejiles wind farm.
Fenie Energía is a company engaged in energy brokerage services (electricity and gas). Furthermore, Fenie represents renewable energy producers in OMIE and CNMC. As result of this transaction, Fenie Energía enters into the renewable energy generation business.
