Clifford Chance closes its financial year with the appointment of Rodrigo Uría as partner in the Banking and Finance Practice Area. On 1 May Uría will become a member of the firm's Partnership comprising 581 partners worldwide, 22 of which are in Spain.
With Law and Business Administration Degrees from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Rodrigo joined Clifford Chance in 2000. He specialises in financing operations including syndicated loans, structured financing, acquisition and project finance as well as restructurings. With more than 15 years of experience, Rodrigo is actively involved in advising both Spanish entities as well as international investors, and is expert on regulatory matters linked to the complicated operation of the financial markets.
