Capital Energy lands in the United States with the first investment of its venture capital fund Quantum outside our country. The company has invested in Infraclear, a data platform in the infrastructure sector, on which it offers different layers of services. The acquisition is the first investment after the strategic shift of the company, which has increased to 50 million the amount it will allocate to increase its presence in technology and incubate startups.

In 2021, Quantum entered in Hesstec, a Valencian-Andalusian company dedicated to the development of hybrid storage solutions or Klima Energy Transition Fund, a pan-European fund focused on energy transition driven by Alantra and Enagás. It also invested in Solum, a company from Seville that creates a photovoltaic pavement.

In 2022, the company landed in Stemy Energy, a Madrid-based software platform that, through artificial intelligence, connects and manages consumers to reduce their electricity bills and carbon footprint.

This year, the company acquired Veltium, a Basque company that develops, manufactures and markets hardware and software solutions for electric vehicle charging.

Capital Energy Quantum has also promoted seven pilot projects: gamification of sustainable behaviors (Light); electricity consumption disaggregation system (Voltaware); smart charging devices to improve the user experience at the point of sale (Chargy); BlockChain technology applied to the certification of the origin of renewable energy (Flexidao); virtual reality for operation and maintenance in wind farms (Onirix); predictive meteorological models for wind farms (Vexiza) and quantification of the direct and indirect effects of the installation of wind turbines (AYEconomics).
