Abac Capital has earned B Corp status for its compliance with the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and accountability.
B Corp is a a global movement of people and organisations that use business as a force for good to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. The B Corp certification, which is managed by B Lab, measures all aspects of management performance and addresses five core areas of impact: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
Abac Capital is the first mid-market private equity player in Spain to certify as a B Corp. From the outset, Abac has been committed to making sustainability a lever for the creation of social, environmental and financial value. This purpose materialises during the investment period, when Abac works with its portfolio companies to measure and improve their impact.
The B Corp certification is awarded to leaders in the sustainability field following a rigorous assessment. These organisations have to provide evidence of their ESG best practices and embed their social purpose commitment into their bylaws.
