Global Social Impact Investments SGIIC, SAU (GSI) is a CNMV-authorised Spanish fund manager specialising in social and environmental impact investing. Founded in 2020 and part of Santa Comba Gestión, GSI invests in profitable, sustainable and growing companies that contribute to improving the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. Its investment approach combines financial performance with measurable, positive and long-term impact. GSI currently manages two investment vehicles, GSIF Africa and GSIF Spain, with more than €100 million in assets under management.

The team combines more than 20 years of experience in finance, philanthropy and impact investing with in-depth knowledge of the regions and sectors in which it invests. GSI operates in the field of impact investing through two complementary strategies. GSIF Africa invests primarily through private debt in established SMEs in sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on sectors such as agriculture, food, productive assets and clean energy. GSIF Spain provides growth capital to Spanish SMEs with inclusive, sustainable and scalable business models that contribute to the social and economic inclusion of vulnerable groups.

GSI’s distinctive value lies in its ability to combine financial discipline, sector expertise and a rigorous proprietary methodology for impact measurement and management.
