The third Cuatrecasas Acelera program has kickstarted at La Nave de Madrid where it hold its first bootcamp with the six chosen startups. Acelera timed this training event to coincide with the South Summit, Spain’s leading entrepreneurship fair, which took place from October 3–5 at La Nave de Madrid and at which the Cuatrecasas accelerator program was presented.

This two-day event has given the six chosen startups of a high legal complexity, from areas such as legaltech, fintech, robotics and blockchain, the opportunity to get to know the business and legal mentors that will accompany them throughout this program. The startups also had the opportunity to learn, firsthand from Jesús Ruiz, CTO at Alastria, about the tools Alastria’s blockchain network has to offer them to implement their initiatives. In the coming days at least one of the international startups will be chosen to carry out a pilot project at our offices.

The participating startups will access a unique ecosystem enabling them to validate their business model and multiply their possibilities of attracting clients and obtaining financing. Over the four-month accelerator period, there will be group sessions, bootcamps and individual sessions with experts from Cuatrecasas, StepOne Ventures, Telefónica Innovación Abierta and Alastria. The startups will also participate in dynamic groups covering such diverse subjects as innovation, design thinking, research, experimentation, financing and investment. The program will end in February with Demo Day when the entrepreneurs present their projects to investors and players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
