BME’s Pre-Market Environment (EpM) has agreed to incorporate Axon Partners Group as a new partner, and will also participate as a potential investor and introducer of companies to the Environment. It will contribute to identifying companies with growth and IPO potential. In addition, it will organise training sessions to help both investors and companies understand the useful financing alternative that BME Growth represents for companies.
Axon Partners Group is a global investment, alternative asset management and consulting firm with an extensive track record, solid track record and presence in more than 80 countries. Since its creation in 2006, Axon has managed more than 600 million euros through different strategies. It ranks among the 5 best performing firms in alternative assets in Europe in 2020 and among the top 50 in 2019, according to Preqin.
Jesús González Nieto-Márquez, General Manager of BME Growth, said that “the incorporation of Axon Partners to EpM opens up new and excellent prospects for this BME project by integrating its experience in venture capital financing into the path that leads to the equity markets.”
Alfonso de León, managing partner with Axon Partners Group, stressed that they will invest through Axon Innovation Growth IV in medium-sized companies and in growth stages that meet the necessary characteristics to consider their incorporation to BME Growth: “We consider this option to be an excellent alternative for successive capitalisation, growth and value creation”, he said.
The aim of this BME initiative is to help companies to familiarise themselves with the functioning of financial markets and gain access to private and institutional investors. To this end, the 17 companies that form part of the Pre-Market Environment, from all types of sectors, have the support of specialised partners who provide them with the necessary training to achieve the level of competence that will enable them to access the financial markets.
