RCD and Spire Bioventures combine their expertise to support innovative projects in the health field

The law firm and the American mentoring network have signed a partnership to strengthen their strategy in their respective fields. Both firms are a reference in their fields of action: the development of biotechnological projects on one hand, and legal advice to the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, on the other.

RCD – Rousaud Costas Duran and Spire Bioventures have signed a collaboration agreement by which the law firm will advise both the mentoring platform and the projects it mentors.

This agreement will allow Spire adventures to organize mentoring programs for organizations and companies in the life sciences sector regarding their business and operation strategies, investment-seeking strategies, etc. These mentoring programs will incorporate the experience of RCD, which is a considered a pioneering firm for creating an innovation and entrepreneurship practice to advise start-ups and entrepreneurs.

With this partnership, companies that join Spire Bioventures mentoring programs will have access to legal advice from RCD – which will become a legal partner in the platform in question. The agreement will showcase Spire Bioventures’ expertise about business initiatives in the life sciences and biotechnology sector, as well as their association with key markets, including the United States. It will also underscore RCD´s proven track record as a legal service provider for innovation projects, a track record which has earned the firm recognition within the innovation ecosystem.

Spire Bioventures is an international network of mentors with headquarters in Palo Alto (California) and Barcelona. The network collaborates with early-stage projects and companies with great promise in the fields of biotechnology, medical devices and digital health, in order to help them in their strategic development. The mentors of the Spire network are renowned experts in the health sector, regarding both scientific and business aspects.
