Private equity firm Miura Private Equity reinforces its senior management team with the appointments of Jordi Alegre as Managing Partner and Fernando Clúa as Partner.

These promotions will consolidate Miura’s recent growth after the successful closing in 2019 of Miura Frutas Fund, the largest Agribusiness fund in Europe with a size of €360 million, and Miura Fund III, its third buy-out and growth fund of €330 million closed in 2018. The firm has reached €1bn of total Assets under Management.

Jordi Alegre joined Miura since its inception in 2007 from Mercapital and was promoted to Partner in 2014. During this time, he has led some of the most relevant investments in Miura and has executed complex international consolidation projects. Jordi is a member of Miura’s Board of Directors and Investment Committee.

Fernando Clúa joined Miura in 2015 and since then he has gained relevant experience in sectors such as agribusiness, industrials and business services. Fernando previously worked at Advent International since 2006, both in their London and Madrid offices.

Luis Seguí, CEO & Founding Partner comments: «We congratulate both Jordi and Fernando for their well-deserved promotions and are glad to see our partnership reinforced. In an organization where talent is our most valuable asset, we are proud to see how our team members grow and develop successful careers».
