King & Wood Mallesons ("KWM") has advised GED Capital on the launch of its first infrastructure fund. The new investment vehicle has a target size of €200 million and is aimed at investments in energy, social infrastructure, water, waste to energy and TMT companies, mainly located in the Iberian Peninsula but also in other countries of the Eurozone and in the United Kingdom.

The KWM team was led by Funds Partner Isabel Rodríguez. Other relevant members have been Partner Ildefonso Alier and Associates María de Orueta and María Mata.

GED Capital is an independent management company founded in 1996 that operates in the middle market segment. It currently manages more than €800 million.

Previously, KWM advised GED Capital on the structuring of other investment vehicles, including GED V, GED VI España and Conexo Ventures FCR. Additionally, KWM has also assisted the fund in several investments and divestments of its portfolio companies.
