With this new fund, Kibo Ventures will manage in excess of € 115 million and will expand its investment scope to finance not only the early stages of digital companies, but also the subsequent expansion of these companies. Kibo Ventures’ focus will continue to be supporting Spanish entrepreneurs globally.
Fund II is still open to new investo rs up to a maximum capacity of € 100 million.
The fund is supported by an institutional investor base, including the European Investment Fund (EIF) , Telefonica Open Future SLU, Innvierte Economía Sostenible SCR (CDTI), Fond - ICO Global, Criteria Venture Capi tal SICC (La Caixa), pension funds and several family offices and tech investors.
There is also a new management company , Kibo Ventures Partners SGEIC, S.A. , where the first fund , Amerigo Innvierte Spain Technologies FCR , has been transferred from Cygnus A sset Management SGIIC, S.A. which remain s involved as a minority shareholder. Kibo Ventures Partners SGEIC, S.A. currently manages € 115 million which makes it one of the most relevant Venture Capital firms in Spain specialized in digital technology. The first fund has invested in 32 companies, including Carto, Job and Talent, Flywire, iContainers, P romofarma, Jetlore, Captio , B lueliv , Omnidrone, Winlo, Worldsensing, Redbooth , Mediasmart, Smartycontent and others. Has sold companies to Groupon (Blink), New Relic (Ducksboard) and Airbnb (Trip4Real) and has a very international profile, with one third of the investments based outside Spain (mainly US and UK) and fostering co - investments with many US and European VCs.

Valeria Loewe received her MBA from IE, a PDG from IESE and brings over 10 years of experience in venture capital through Najeti Capital.
