CornerJob, the leading digital recruitment platform founded by David Rodriguez, Miguel Vicente, Gerard Olivé and Mauro Maltagliati, announced a new $3 million investment in the business by Innogest, the specialist digital and healthcare venture capital firm.

This latest investment follows a $19 million funding announced by the company in May 2017 and takes the total investment in the business to over $57 million, allowing CornerJob to attain a leadership position in digital recruitment in all the countries where it operates (Italy, France, Spain and Mexico).

The new investment means Innogest joins a team of international investors in CornerJob, which include Mediaset Italia, Groupe TF1, RTL, Northzone, Randstad Innovation Fund, e.ventures, Samaipata Ventures, Caixa Capital Risc, Sabadell Venture Capital, Mediaset España, 5M Ventures, Media Digital Ventures, Augesco Ventures and TV Azteca.

Since its launch in October 2015, CornerJob has reached significant milestones: 8 million downloads of the app and over 200,000 companies using the platform to publish their job ads.

Companies that have used CornerJob to recruit employees cover a wide range of industries: from HoReCa and tourism to retail, construction to public sector, SMEs to blue chip companies. Among the companies that have used the platform are Adecco, Eataly, Geox, Amnesty International, Generali, Manpower, Leroy Merlin, Tommy Hilfiger, DHL, Novotel, Best Western, McDonald’s, Burger King, AT&T and Victoria’s Secret to name a few.

David Rodríguez, co-founder and CEO of CornerJob said: «We’re pleased to count Innogest amoung our investors. This new investment from a leading Italian VC with global reach will help us reinforce our leadership in all our markets and particularly in Italy».

Stefano Molino, partner at Innogest, added: «We are very happy to join the shareholding structure of CornerJob and to be able to make our contribution to its development on the Italian and international markets. Today, CornerJob is a leading European company in the employment market and, specifically in the lightly-skilled jobs segment, representing an extremely large part of the HR sector. Simplicity and immediacy of user experience, linked with sophisticated algorithms to profile and match candidates, give CornerJob an important differentiating factor and a great plus, both for companies and for candidates in the platform».
