IMPACT Connected Car, an unique ecosystem with 2,1Million € EQUITY FREE to fund Connected Car solutions

What is #ICCar about?

Connected Car, funded by INNOSUP Initiative [Grant Agreement No 731343 under Horizon 2020 EU Programme] aims at creating value link-chains for innovation in the Connected Car OpenSpace, with vehicle, infrastructure and device & TelCo interactions and consumer & business services, through the showcasing, acceleration and smartization of 70 Disruptive SMEs in this Open Space.

To this end, the project will distribute € 2.1 million funding, equity free, through 2 open calls and awards.

  • Each open call, will select up to 25 to 35 start-ups / SME to go through the smartization programme, starting with a Disruptive Boot Camp (Stage 1, up to € 3,000 funding).
  • From those, we will select some companies to go to the Ignition Plan (Stage 2, up to € 7,000 funding) and,
  • The best of previous companies will go through the application development (Stage 3, up to €50,000 funding).

In total one single company may receive up-to 60k € across our Smartization Programme (3k + 7k + 50k €)

In addition, C-Car Awards will be announced across the programme to fund top innovative connected car solutions across Europe.

Furthermore, the project will offer services to the copmanies taking part in the programme, such as coaching (Technical, Business and Corporate), Technical support & lab hours and Networking and visibility.

Beyond the 4 million euro support for the SMEs within the project, #ICCar will seek private funding of € 1 million and € 1 million of mobilized ESIF. For this purpose, the “IMPACT Connected Car Excellence Label” will be instrumental.
