French group Descours & Cabaud has acquired SELA, a Galician company specializing in job security integral solutions. This is its second corporate acquisition in Spain. The first one was carried out in July 2016 when Descours & Cabaud acquired the Cantabrian company Helios Dica.
SELA distrubutes and sells personal protection equipment and work clothes and provides services like occupational risk prevention training and safety system inspection and step-up.
In order to successfully close the deal, the French group, specializing in the industry equipement distribution and construction, have counted on Mazars, Roca Junyent, and ONEtoONE Corporate Finance as advisors.
Descours & Cabaud Group’s headquarters are situated in Lyon, and it has a presence in 14 countries, with a global turnover of more than €3.2 billion. Over the last six months, the Group also acquired the canadian Ottawa Fasteners Supply and the French EPI Maintenance.
