Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira has advised Applus Services S.A. and the selling shareholders (Carlyle) on the initial public offering and admission to trading on the Spanish stock exchange. The offering was valued at €1.1 billion (€300 million captured through a public offer for subscription and €800 million through an initial public offering), and targeted institutional investors.

On its launch on the continuous market, the technology and certification company had a market cap of €2.015 billion. Juan Aguayo, partner from the Corporate Practice and specialist in M&A and Capital Markets, led the operation together with partner Fernando Torrente. Other team members include David Casanueva, José Luis Rodríguez Jiménez, Teresa Méndez Flórez, Elimena Junquera and Miguel García Nieto.

This is the fourth launch of a company on the Spanish stock market this year.
