WorldMastery, a content-as-a-service platform which provides structured online courses,has secured a €3M Series A round led by Pan-European VC Nauta Capital.
The edtech company serves the non-academic learning needs of businesses andprofessionals by providing access to highly-curated specialist courses delivered by maestros – renowned experts – in subjectsincluding tennis, basketball, dance, yoga, fitness, cooking and hairstyle.
Through their all–in–one content platform, clientsaccess more than 25hours of videos per courseas well as tools to monitor their progress and performance, delivered by experts such as Toni Nadal; world’s most successful tennis coach, BožidarMaljković; considered one of the best European Basketball Coaches of all timesas well asKim Kimble –a top celebrity hairstylistwhose clients include Beyoncé and Halle Berry.
The Barcelona-basedcompany, which currently has more than 50 employees, was founded in 2016 byAniolBrosa and Oriol Segundo whose previous venture was a franchising group of dance academies that became the largest in their sector in Europe.
